THE SAFARI PORSCHE 911 FLEET
Our Safari Porsche 911s (996 or 997 variants, manual transmission) are built to rally specifications with new suspension, under-belly protection, rally wheels and tyres, hard bumpers and roof racks — raw, communicative, and built for the road. A Porsche 911 experience you will never forget!
DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY — CAPE TOWN
Evening before the tour.
We check in at the Zest Boutique Hotel in Cape Town for introductions, a pre-tour welcome and briefing, followed by dinner at one of Green Point’s finest restaurants.
DAY 2: CAPE POINT & STELLENBOSCH
Cape Peninsula coastal drive to South Africa’s oldest wine town.
After breakfast we explore the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point, driving along the iconic Chapman’s Peak — winding roads, dramatic cliffs and the finest views of the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch in Simon’s Town, then onward to beautiful Stellenbosch for a late-afternoon check-in at the River Manor Boutique Hotel. Dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3: SEASIDE BLISS – HERMANUS
Whale watching · Hemel-en-Aarde wines · UNESCO City of Gastronomy
Hermanus is the world’s premier land-based whale-watching destination. We set out on a private charter to watch Southern Right whales in their peak season — one of the great wildlife spectacles on earth. A tour of the Hemel-en-Aarde valley’s finest wine farms follows, before time to explore Hermanus — a UNESCO-recognised Creative City of Gastronomy, with cosy cafés, art galleries, markets and the historic Old Harbour Museum. Overnight at the beautiful 1 Marine Drive Boutique Hotel.
DAY 4: ROBERTSON — THE BREEDE RIVER VALLEY
Valley of Wine and Roses · Route 62 · Whisky & Cigar tasting
We head off to the quaint town of Robertson in the semi-arid Breede River Valley. Often called the ‘Valley of Wine and Roses’, Robertson is a celebrated stop on Route 62 — Africa’s answer to Route 66 and the world’s longest wine route. Soak in the peace and quiet of this magical valley, combined with a private whisky, brandy and cigar tasting — or opt for a spa treatment — at our hotel for the night: the Robertson Small Boutique Hotel.
DAY 5: FRANSCHHOEK — GOURMET CAPITAL OF SOUTH AFRICA
Franschhoek Pass · Champagne lookout · Motor Museum · Fine dining
We set off to beautiful Franschhoek, known for exquisite dining and world-class wines. The route takes us along the spectacular Franschhoek Pass, stopping at the lookout point for a glass of Champagne with views across the entire valley. After lunch we visit the Franschhoek Motor Museum — a must-see South African venue with over 220 vehicles spanning 100 years of automotive history. The evening is spent exploring fine art and boutique shops, all within walking distance of the Chapter House Boutique Hotel, where dinner will be served.
DAY 6: BACK TO CAPE TOWN
Mountain passes · V&A Waterfront lunch · Sunset catamaran cruise
We drive back to Cape Town via the most beautiful wine routes and mountain passes in the Cape, arriving at the Mother City for a fine lunch at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Our journey concludes with a private sunset catamaran cruise from the harbour, serving fine Champagne and cocktails on board. We return to the Zest Boutique Hotel for a celebratory farewell dinner at one of Green Point’s finest restaurants — with a special surprise awaiting our guests…
