This self-drive, guided one-day tour in the Western Cape offers a spectacular driving experience in our custom-built Safari Porsche 911 vehicles on some of the most scenic routes in South Africa.
Departing from the AMS premises in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, we head through the Durbanville Valley and Cottermanskloof with vineyards, bright yellow canola and wheat fields stretching as far as the eye can see via the Bothmaskloof pass to the quaint village of Riebeek-Kasteel – one of the jewels in the famous Swartland region of the Western Cape. We stop for coffee and home-made croissants and cake at 8 Feet Village overlooking the picturesque Riebeek Valley.
Our next destination is Wellington, where the Bainskloof pass begins. This spectacular pass is one the most scenic routes in the country and is 27 kilometers of sheer driving pleasure! A comfort break at Du Toitskloof Winery is our next stop, just before we take the historic Du Toitskloof pass to Paarl for a fine dining experience with lunch at the 5-Star Grande Roche Hotel, one of the Western Cape’s best wineries. Approximately 290 km.
